Innovations Family Wellness, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that focuses on giving people of all socioeconomic backgrounds the best possible start to a lifetime of health and wellness, using a mind, body & spirit approach.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to strengthen local communities by ushering in a generation of healthy families regardless of their socioeconomic status.

Who We Serve:

We serve women and families from all walks of life. We believe everyone deserves access to holistic care.

How We Fulfill Our Purpose:

We seek to provide high-quality, experienced, accessible perinatal care for families. We offer in-house breastfeeding support and also have a network of providers we partner with to offer holistic perinatal services to families. These services include but are not limited to lactation care, chiropractic care, and midwifery care.

We also focus on creating a culture where all mamas feel comfortable. In order to achieve this goal, we seek to train women of color to become holistic perinatal providers including CLC/IBCLCs, doulas, midwives and more. There is a great disparity when it comes to providers of color and want to mend that gap in efforts to lower maternal death rates.

Referral Network:

While we provide care for lactation support, health and wellness coaching and herbal supplements, we also have a referral network that we have created to connect clients to services outside of what we do in-house. We are connected with a chiropractor, midwives, and many more!

Annual Lift Every Baby Event

Our Lift Every Baby event is a celebration of the best food for all babies: Breast Milk! Each year we collaborate with businesses and healthcare providers across the Tulsa area to promote breastfeeding awareness, as well as bring awareness to the disparities in the number of Black women who breastfeed and the maternal health crisis. We hold our event each year during National Breastfeeding Month and Black Breastfeeding Week. We truly believe that increasing our breastfeeding numbers starts with one community at at time. Black infants and mothers are dying at alarming rates. Breastfeeding lowers the maternal and infant mortality rates of us all. Together we can normalize breastfeeding nationwide!
